Strontium, the memory hardware company based in Singapore, have announced an interesting product today. Their USB OTG drive has a standard USB port on one side, and a micro-USB port on the other. This allows it to be used as an external flash drive on PCs as well as any phone or tablet that supports OTG (On-The-Go) connectivity.
As you can guess, most Android and other phones will support this kind of product, while iPhones and iPad users are out of luck. This should be a very useful product for phones like the Nexus lineup that do not support external SD memory.
We have yet to review a Strontium product, so we can’t vouch for their quality, performance, or durability. These drives do come with a 5 year warranty.
