If you wanted to put together a system using that Gigabyte Brix super small form factor barebones kit we told you about a while back, you won’t want to just put in any set of SODIMM laptop memory. Instead, you’ll want to consider something like this Ripjaws kit G.Skill have been touting.
It’s a 2133 MHz 16GB kit, which requires a low voltage of 1.35v. Timings are 11-11-11-31, which is shown off in this validation screen running on a Gigabyte Brix Pro GB-BXi7-4770R.
G.Skill recommends it for Haswell based systems, but I think it would work well with that AMD system mentioned above. In any case, if you are using an ultra small form factor but still want performance memory, this is something to look at.
