According to an ‘anonymous source inside Microsoft‘, the Zune 2 and Zune Flash portable audio players will be hitting stores on October 16. Also according to this source, the Zune 2 will come in a capacity of 80GB, and the flash version will be either 4GB or 8GB. This puts all Zune products an entire generation behind Apple’s iPods in terms of capacity, so I’m not sure how true any of these rumors really are. Somehow I doubt Microsoft will be willing to release something that Apple beat months before. We shall see!

in terms of performance and user freindliness is the zune better than the Ipod…. is it worth the money
