Nvidia’s “The Way it’s Meant to be Played” has been a part of the Watch Dogs promotional hype for a while now, and today the partnership gets even stronger. When purchased at a participating retailer, you can get a free copy of Watch Dogs with your GeForce card. Plenty of models are eligible too:
Just about ever model will get you the game, starting with the $170 GeForce 660. To contrast, spending $170 on an AMD card will get you two “classic” games that have likely already been on sale several times.
If you’re not hyped on Watch Dogs by now, you probably should be. It showed very well when it was revealed at E3. So well, that Ubisoft decided to delay the game to try to meet the incredibly high expectations. This reminds me of when The Last of Us was shown. When the combat was shown, people expected it to be a unique experience of having to deal with extremely sparse resources, and improvising with the AI. That game wasn’t delayed though, so in the end the combat ended up being a lot like Uncharted.
For more details, check out Nvidia’s promotional page. It is available all over the world, at most of the stores you’d shop at anyway, but I don’t see any Asian retailers listed.
