The results are in for sales of video games and consoles in North America for the month of May. My verdict: Nintendo RULES. With Pokemon Diamond and Pearl together moving over half a million copies (apparently Diamonds are more sought after, as that version outsold Pearl by 100,000 copies),Mario Party 8 sitting between them in the #2 spot, and the Wii and DS Lite together dominating the hardware chart, there is no sign of slowing down for Nintendo.

Activision also had a stellar month, with two Spider-Man 3 games and two Guitar Hero games sitting in the top 10. See? People are still buying PS2 games!
