Microsoft has cut Sony off at the pass by lowering the price of the XBOX 360 Elite to match that of the Sony PS3 Slim. Did they do anything to sweeten the deal though?

In July, we told you that once Sony sold out of their stock of 60GB PS3’s, that they would not be shipping any more to stores. We speculated that this would happen in “a few months”.
