One of the not-anticipated (but not unexpected) announcements coming out of Tokyo Game Show 2007 is today’s announcement of the Dual Shock 3 controller by Sony.
Coming this November to Japan, the Dual Shock 3 will combine SixAxis support with RUMBLE~! They weren’t able to include this feature at launch, due to litigation from a controller company claiming to own the patent on the rumble feature in gamepads.
The official date for US and Europe is Spring 2008, but you’ll be able to grab one at import gaming sites much sooner than that, I’m sure.
