That's why the 1200 mAH battery will provide you the same amount of playtime that you get on the current PSP with it's 1800 mAH battery. I can't see myself having a bump under my PSP Slim because of the thicker 1800 mAH battery. Let's hope a company comes out with a 2000+ mAH battery with the same thickness as the 1200 mAH shipped battery. They showed pictures of the new system at Gamespot side by side and it is smaller in thickness and lighter in feel. On the extra battry life Sony said they are going to allow you to plug the old battry in the new system. giveing you a 1 1/2 hours of extra play time for anything you can think of to do with the system. Sony also said they will release new battry covers to fit over the old battry. Though the old battry will increase the wight of the system but not by much. Um……….
