Gaming Performance

First, we'll look at a couple real video games. We're using a GeForce 6800 GT in these tests, so medium settings were used in the games:

This time the C51 sees a slight edge in performance, which to be honest is somewhat expected. The most likely scenario is that NFORCE 590 SLI has tighter memory timings that are shown in gaming performance. Of course, once you hit the graphics bottleneck, that advantage will all but disappear.

Even last year's version of 3DMark is so graphics-bound that it shows very little performance difference between the two boards.
