AquaMark 3

The other synthetic benchmark we use in our reviews is AquaMark 3. If for no other reason than it's easy to run, and highly configurable.

With filtering disabled, each of our cards have no problem running Aquamark 3 smoothly.

However with filtering enabled at 1024x768, the 6600 GT falls below 60 fps. The reference X800 outperforms the old X700 Pro by 10 fps, and Gigabyte's version improves on that by a further 4 fps. Interesting, the X800 XL only outperforms the 6800 GT once filtering is enabled.
