The 5.25" Bays

Remember the tiny allen key you saw in the beginning? Let the mystery be solved! As you can see, it's on a screw. That screw is what holds the face plate on to the case which must be removed before a 5.25" device is installed. Why an allen key you may ask? The screws in this case are tiny and a phillips head would be susceptible to stripping, hence the allen screw.

The face plate is a solid piece of work and just reeked of quality. The drive bay doors were smooth and worked flawlessy with the DVD rom I installed.

The optical drive sits recessed in the case and is opened with an external button (as seen above).

Finally, there are the various cards that need to be plugged into the case.

Considering the extremely tight tolerences here, it's understandable that a tool less bracket was not utilized, but thumbscrews... please?

With everything built up, how well did the case work?
