The guts

With any case, the ease in which drives are attached are pretty dang important especially for those who install and remove things a lot. Let's start from the back today and work our way forwards. Now remember when I said earlier that the PSU was mounted sizeways? That would place the intake fan on the PSU sideways.. which wouldn't really get rid of the hot air rising from the rest of the components in the case such as the CPU and video card...

.. but when coupled with the 80mm exhaust fan, it'd do a superb job of cooling some hard drives. How does three sound? The cage slides in as seen and unfortunately, installing the hard drives meant using screws. Though I would have liked to see rails, it simply isn't possible given the limited amount of space.

Speaking of rails, all the 5.25" bays were secured with these big clips that held things in place.

Installing a device such as an optical drive was a matter of taking the drive cover off, sliding it in and then snapping it in place. It doesn't get easier than that!

Unfortunately, installing 3.5" devices wasn't so easy...
