The Silverstone Connectors

The box of the power supply featured "SSI, EPS12V Compliant connectors" and for your viewing pleasure, I've taken macro shots of the aforementioned parts. As you can see, full support for all the latest boards from your newest Prescott to a dual CPU system.

Now, what's wrong with the picture above? Well, for one, 8-pin connectors just don't fit well with the 4-pin connectors typically found on motherboards. In fact, as far as I know, only dual CPU systems can utilize that 8-pin connector. For those who require the 4-pin and the old ATX standard connectors, the PSU comes with converters that will allow you to buy the Silverstone now to use with your old system and still use it later on down the road when you have gone on to bigger and better machines.

In addition to the standard motherboard connectors, there is also the 6-pin for PCIe video cards...

.. as well as the now obligatory SATA connectors. While I can't really complain about the functionality of the SATA power connectors, I would much rather have seen Silverstone utilize a 90-degree style connector like that of the Enermax. As with the Enermax, there were two connectors per rail.

Finally, there are theƂ four pin molex connectors. In this case, there were two rails each with three four-pin molex connectors along with a floppy connector.
