Cinebench 2003 Rendering For our rendering and shading tests, we are using Cinebench 2003. Cinebench is based on Maxon's CINEMA 4D R8 software. It is multithreaded, so the P4 definitely sees a nice boost from HyperThreading technology here. The rendering tests were done in multithreaded mode: Not much to talk about here; the same increase we've been seeing all along. Moving along to shading, Cinebench supports three modes of shading. One, using the C4D software engine, and two OpenGL types (software and hardware). We tested them all: And once again, we have nothing more to tell you other than the increase related to the 66 MHz faster CPU.
