Installation So what does the LC02 look like with a full system installed? To find out, I had to dig up an old motherboard with the 'high AGP' format. Luckily, I found an old Intel 850E based motherboard that works with 533 FSB Pentium 4's: Yes, that is RDRAM you see there. It's not dead! ;) I am planning to give this board away to a lucky forum member to add to their DF farm. In our test system, we used a P4 3.06 CPU with a full copper heatsink (it's actually a Thermaltake Spark7 with the broken fan replaced by a fan from an OEM A64 cooler). The video card is a Radeon 9600XT - not exactly the hottest video card in the world, keep this in mind. Under the video card is a Hauppage PVR-250 TV tuner. This would make a pretty decent HTPC! If you were wondering how much room there is around the CPU with the drive tray installed, here is your answer: just enough. Don't plan on installing a monster cooler in here! This is unfortunate, because it's apparent that SilverStone designed their slim case with low noise in mind - there is only one single fan in the case itself. Well as you know, if you are going the low-noise route on a CPU cooler, you need as much surface area as possible, and a large, low-RPM fan. Not going to happen here.
