SiSoft Sandra 2004 CPU Tests

As usual, we'll kick things off with some good ol' theoretical number crunching results from SiSoft Sandra.

Starting with the two CPU Arithmatic benchmarks:

In these pure math tests, the Prescott falls very slightly behind. In these tests, you can clearly see the benefit Hyperthreading can provide, although the non HT CPU's we tested ramp accordingly with their non-HT counterparts, so it would seem that so far the new HT improvements aren't showing up.

Moving on to the CPU MultiMedia tests:

Again we don't see much benefit from the proported HT improvements in these pure math tests.

It's interesting to see the Athlon64 get decimated by these tests... Looking at how it performs in most other benchmarks, it doesn't instill a lot of confidence in SiSoft Sandra...
