Memory Tests

First up, of course, are the memory benchmarks, to directly test the memory bandwidth capabilities of this board compared to its competitors. These numbers are all theoretical, and may not reflect end system performance (which is why we test that too!)

With the SiSoft Sandra 2004 memory test, the Pro875B matches up with the Bonanza pretty much perfectly well. Note where the 865PE sits in this test. Without the "PAT" feature (normally) exclusive to the 875P chipset, the 865PE lags significantly behind in memory performance.

The Aida32 results are interesting; the Pro875B lags behind slightly in the Write test, but pulls ahead of the Bonanza in the read test. All in all, I would call this pretty much even.

PCMark 04 Pro uses actual system operations to test system performance, rather than straight math. For some reason, it didn't like the Pro875B though, and it lagged a bit behind in these tests. We'll have to find out if this continues with the gaming tests...
