A Closer Look By now you're probably wanting to check out the window.. Here it is! Rather than use a HUGE window that shows off EVERYTHING inside the case, including the parts you DON'T want to show off, the Minotaur uses a 3 piece design that flows perfectly with the front of the case. The non-window side also has the 'whiskers' going up the side, but of course without the case and 'that green thingy'. What IS that green thingy anyway? I had that same question when I first had a look at the case. Is it a CPU intake fan? A funnel? A devil's ear? CasEdge actually calls it a "3G Cone and Filter". Basically, it serves as a direct air intate into your CPU fan. As you can see, there is also a removable filter, which makes it easy to clean, and helps keep the interior of the case dust-free. Our version came with a CasEdge brand 350W PSU (which doesn't have an on/off switch - but I am reviewing the case not the PSU, so I'll let that slide). Also you can see that the Minotaur uses a 120mm exaust fan, to move a ton of air while helping keep things quiet inside. The door is held on by this clip handle, but during testing I often had some slight problems installing the door. The door seems not to be perfectly flat and straight, so the tabs don't line up easily. You'll have to use a lot of effort getting the door on because of this. One MAJOR gripe I have with this case is the fact that ONLY the window door is removable. The only thing this does is make it harder for us to hide the cables behind the motherboard for a clean install. Although there is no need to remove the opposite door because of the clever tool-less design of the drive bays, I really wish CasEdge had left it up to US to remove the door or leave it on.
