Aquamark 3

Here's the latest greatest DirectX9 benchmark to hit the scene. The Pro version actually comes with quite a few extra benching and diag features. We had a chance to run a couple benchmarks on the cards we have in house:

At 1024x768, the 5900 barely keeps up with the Radeon 9700, let alone the 9800 Pro it is supposed to be up against. This is most likely a driver thing - just give NVIDIA a chance to chea- err.. optimize for AquaMark 3, and you should see things even up a bit.

Cranking the filtering helps out the 5900 quite a bit, as it pulls ahead of the 9700 (it better - it costs $100 more) and closes in on the 9800 scores.
