Call of Duty (

While perusing the floor for WWII games, I somehow missed this one...even though there was a very angry German guy who screamed "NEIN!" at me when I asked to take his picture.  I did anyways and we stared each other down before he conceeded.  True story.

Anyways, Call of Duty is actually a series of games and the first, based in a WWII setting is slated for Q3 2003 release.  The FPS will allow the player to take different perspectives on WWII by controlling different soldiers of different countries.  A bunch of the guys that worked on the original Medal of Honor game are on board for this one so I'd expect it to live up to a certain level of realism.

Computer Gaming World

From the first moment I saw this shirt, I knew I had to have one.  However, being from Canada, I would have to pay full price for the magazine instead of taking advantage of the great deal they had going at the booth.

However, the girl behind the counter, who was absolutely the nicest booth babe at the show, gave me a shirt anyways.  (If you're reading...I'm the Chinese guy from Canada...=D Oh yeah, great description.)

And that was it.  I waved goodbye to the hallowed halls of the Los Angeles Convention Center and swore that I would come back next year before hopping into my Chrysler Sebring Convertible and making my way around the city of Los Angeles.

I've been to LA quite a few times before...actually, I come here a lot and I just had to let you guys know about one of my favorite places to stop in the whole world.  Nestled in Little Tokyo and, strangely enough, not the least bit Japanese, is the best Taiwanese noodle place in the world, Mandarin Deli.  I gotta come here at least once every time I'm in LA so while Moto was still at Six Flags, I drove my way through the hell that is Los Angeles rush hour and got myself a pork chop noodle bowl.  Took some pics of Little Tokyo and the city as well.

...and then, after sleeping the night and 16 hours of driving...the most familiar thing about Vancouver welcomed me home.  Rain.
