Assassin’s Creed IV
This is version 2.0 of our ACIV benchmark run, which is much more consistent than our first version. It starts off with a “Synchronization” from a rooftop, then follows up with a run through Havana.
ACIV is one of two games in our suite today that required to be run at 720p. However at this resolution, settings could be bumped up to “Normal” and SSAO was even enabled. This definitely looks and plays better than last-gen consoles.
Since this is a DX10/11 based game, we would expect Dual Graphics Mode to work here.[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laRQNE6BIAs&rel=0&w=622]

Unfortunately Dual Graphics Mode doesn’t appear to work in Assassin’s Creed IV at all, and in fact lowers performance and introduces quite a bit of frame latency. This is a brand new game, so perhaps the beta nature of this driver can excuse this scenario. However it is also a huge game, so maybe AMD should look into getting it to work ASAP.
