No one would argue that AMD doesn’t have a very generous offer to gamers buying a Radeon video card. Depending on model and region, you could receive free digital copies of Bioshock Infinite, along with Tomb Raider or Crysis 2. On top of all that – everyone gets Far Cry: Blood Dragon.
During this time, Nvidia’s bundle has consisted of $150 worth of in-game currency in a few free-to-play games. It is certainly ‘worth’ a lot, but doesn’t come close to meeting the level of games AMD have been giving away.
Nvidia is looking to change that, with the recent revamp of their bundle offer. Buy any GeForce model 660 and above, and you will receive a download code for a copy of the upcoming Metro: Last Light. GeForce 650 buyers will still get a $75 coupon for the free to play games.
Although they have gone from $150 in free-to-play games to a $50 full game, I’d still prefer the game personally. This is a step in the right direction for Nvidia; now let’s see if they can add a few games on top of it!
