If you are growing bored of waiting for Battlefield 3, Elder Scrolls V, and RAGE to come out, maybe some clever indie titles will tide you over until then. What better time to pick up a TON of these games for whatever price you want, with the opportunity to support charity?
The Humble Indie Bundle is in its third year, and the deal has gotten sweetever than ever. Not only can you name your own price (yes, even a penny), you can set exactly where your funds go – split between the developers, charity, and the guys who run the site. To make the deal even sweeter, if you pay more than the average price (currently $5.38), you will get last year’s bundle as well. On top of all that, you get a 1 week trial of Minecraft.
So for just over $5, you could have 11 games which normally sell for about $10 each. Best of all, they are DRM free, andmany of them are available as Steam codes.
You’d be an idiot to not get in on this deal, even just for one of the games. The only thing I would have liked is a bundle of iPad games… Most of these seem more suitable for that platform, but I suppose they’ll be fine on a laptop as well.
