Halo 3 Beta is a no-show

Well, it’s 1:00 am here in sunny Hong Kong, and after waiting all night to download the Halo 3 beta by way of Crackdown, I am giving up. We all know that it was supposed to show up at 8:00 am EST, which is 8:00 pm for me. So instead of getting up really early, I got to stay up later than I wanted to… I guess I didn’t get shafted too bad compared to some people (anyone on the West Coast wake up at 5am to check out the beta, only to be greeted by nothingness? ouch).
Thankfully, Bungie are aware of the issue, and it should be rectified within a day. Most likely, by the time I wake up tomorrow morning, the beta will be available for download!
If not… I’d hate to be working at Bungie or Microsoft…
Can’t complain too much though; this is BETA after all!
UPDATE: Good morning! I just woke up, fired up Crackdown, and went to download the beta. Nope, still not there. Fortunately, there is another update from Bungie, explaining that that have solved the problem, and are testing to see if the solution works. If all goes well, we’ll be able to download Halo 3 by 12:30 am EST or so… That’s Noon for me, so it works out in the end ;)
