I'm gonna keep my orange ones hooked up now, just to see how long theyll go for. I don't have any RAID going so there shouldn't be too big of an issue.

If you think that's luck you should meet a buddy of mine. His computers always fail spectacularly. In the last few years he's killed 5 motherboards (worst one actually spouted a 3 inch flame for 15 seconds), 3 graphics cards, 4 power supplies, 2 CPUs, 2 entire ASUS notebooks and several other smaller components. He's like a nexus of technical malaise.
