Default WildCharge

Watch out for this website, i think this company might skyrocket....

http://www.wildcharge.com/index.html

They made a "pad" that basically anything you put on it charges up, no wires. (well, the pad plugs into the wall)

How does it even work though? It seems like a hoax to me.

They showed it off at CES, not a hoax. I've been watching out for "wireless power" for a while. Another company makes a device you put in a room, and can supply a small amount of power to anything within 15 feet or so. Not ready for consumers yet though.

This pad, I should say, also requies a little adapter in the power port, antenna might be a better word. Quite small apparently though.

well braun toothbrushes use a very similar method of charging. Their bases, and bottoms of tooth brushes are solid plastic... there are no metal touch points... the base just has a spot to put the brush and it charges.

Its pretty cool I think.

you want a big idea? find a way to harness all the different radiowaves being broadcast (radio, cell phones, TV, wifi, everything) and have it constantly charge your cell phone.
