i did't see a burner in that list. they are a useful thing to have, and very inexpensive... if you're gona get an Nvidia card, go with the new 5950. but the ATI cards are really good, so go with what you can afford. i'd get 2 HDD's and either have one normal and one backup, or run them in RAID.
