Oh, about the fanboys. They're nothing new, we have had those since the beginning of the console era. Nintendo vs Sega, Nintendo vs Sony, Sony vs MS. Whatever the choice the fanboys are always theres. When I was a kid I was a total Nintendo fanboy, but it wasn't hard considering how badly the SNES beat the Genesis.
