Batman Begins

I saw it last night. I enjoyed it a lot. If you are a huge Batman fan like myself then you will love. But, if you don't like Batman, you should enjoy the movie also. It is good. Any of you guys see it yet?

well if you're a fan of batman yeah you'll probably liek it, if you're a fan of the compic book series then you'll be pissed off at the "creative liberties" they took with this movie.

i thought it was a good show, but they did do some things with the character i didnt like.

As long as Clooney isn't in it I can't be as bad as the last one.

Yea it was a fun action movie that didn't get stupid or drag on. Kick ass ninja fighting and some funny lines. I reccomend.

It was an enjoyable movie. I'm definitely not a Batman kind of girl...never read the comics, either.

The scenes with the car were great :) The movie was kind of slow, but it worked.

Re: Batman Begins

There were three. Keaton, Clooney and Kilmer (ice from topgun)

Movies were progressively silier, keaton was the best by far, movie was at least dark-ish.

I haven't seen the new one, but there is no doubt Bale kicks ass in this kind of role.

See American Psycho.

I saw this saturday on IMAX. The movie was really good. Best $10 ive spent on a movie in a long time. Blew Star Wars way out of the water.

Very entertaining movie.

The Scarecrow was awesome.

Do you think they will continue with a sequel in the same style or do you think they just left it like that to continue into the orignal batman movie?

I really hope they make a sequel. This Batman movie was the best out of the 5.

Re: Batman Begins

I think they saved plenty of room for a sequel :)
Dr. Crane was hot. *sizzle*

Re: Batman Begins

I have yet to see it, looks great from the previews and reviews... and seeing some updated Batman isn't a bad thing at all. I doubt he will ever phase out...

AHHH my eyes, i thought the movie was pretty bad, the story was so dry, childish, and lame, my cuzzin got up and just walked out but i stuck around when they sprayed the one guy with that gas and the guy put on that scare crow mask and did his freaky shit.

hahaha are you serious?

its a fictional super hero based on a comic book! what kind of story were you looking for?

i know that but compared to the first batman, it looked pretty damn stupid, the action parts were alright, but that raz guy had some terrible acting in my opinion , his speeches were cheesy, the people i liked in it were rachel and that dude with scare crow mask

Re: Batman Begins

it was an awesome movie. no doubt about it, it was just damn good. i mean ninjas + batman in the same movie? 'nuff said. but seriously, i thought it was very well done. i didnt think any of the acting was too poor, but some could have been better. bale was a terrific batman and dr. crane was very well played.

as for a sequel, they led it right into the first [modern] batman movie [michael keaton as batman] so i dont know about that. there's no time in between batman begins and the first batman movie. maybe they'll do something after 'batman & robin' but it'll be hard to turn that good. still hoping, as a huge batman fan :)

well i think what it is, is that the bat man fans are so excited about it that they naturally ignore the negatives of the movie, but someone like me not being a bat man fan(just something to do), found alot of annoying things

I didn't know shit about batman before and thought it was a cool movie. Never even saw a movie or a comic.

raz al juhl (sp?) was supposed to come off as mysterious and powerful. I thought he did a good job of pulling it off. You are entitled to your opinions. My opinion i don't think he acted bad.

i shouldn't have stated it as harsh as i did, i understand what his part was all about, but i felt he pushed it to hard and to me it just became weird, and not enjoyable

yeah but it's liam neeson, can't argue with that (unless its phantom menace, dont know what he was thinking there).

i'm like geo, my knowledge of batman extends to seeing 15 minutes of the one with danny devito and playing with a kick ass batman action figure who's cape clipped on and off and had a grapple gun and all that other fun shit. but anyway, that being the case i think it still kicked ass. (see my previous review in this thread). the only bad acting came from katie holmes. cardboard. but at least it was cardboard with nipples, and that made her ok in my book :righton:
