PREVIEW: Fifth Annual Snake Dedication 2008

The 5th annual snake award will be posted at the end of the year, but I thought I would take a moment to let everyone reminisce on why we celebrate this every new years. It all started with our very own Snake and a Skyline. Brucey has been holding this dedication every year by his own initiative.

The first two dedications were simply looking back on Snake's antics.

2004: First Annual Snake Dedication

However, Snake is no longer the forum fodder. The third and fourth dedications turned to other members, who not only continued, but also excelled in the art of idiocy.

Now we have come to the 2008 Fifth Annual Snake Dedication Award Ceremony! The nominations have already been made with this year's codeword: Snaketacular. I am certain this will be a great year. We have been working on looking through 2008's data and will announce the winners later this month. Get working on the snake award images and skyline photoshops!

you have got to be kidding snake, we have had some damn good threads this year. forgot about some of them, but I've run a search limited to the last year with the word "Snaketacular"
I think we might need a Lifetime Underachievement award this year for _visible. the delete me thread, the lack of basic geography knowledge (seriously, Jerusalem is in Israel.), the webdev firm and more
as for other contenders: Screwlicious, Krytek on Juicy's bday thread, nork the uber haxxor assiting teh Po-lice, IT Doesn't make the business "money" - honorable mention , the epic fail thread, Gypsyvixen the spammer

Yeah I think 2008 might be my favorite snake award year yet. I am excited for the results. There isn't a lifetime award yet, but maybe one will be created.

you could enhance this by creating categories. (Best Whine, Best Flame,Best Supporting Troll). you could even do interviews on the brown carpet.
