I have plans to put a broadband in my house. I´m waiting my number be avaible to put ADSL "oi velox" of 1mb

But I think that my mother will buy the modem of 3G Vivo.

It dosn´t matter because, now there are two reasons to not to buy a xbox 360

:

1- lack of live in my country
2- lack of broadband in my house

actually you can just state your country as a different one, thats what Xbox owners do here as there is no official import of xboxes to israel, theres no live

no. I´m not saying that my country is the only that doesn´t have live. I know that other countries are off the plans of microsoft.

there´s other problem that I agree with you, ECC.

the taxes of importation are very high. We have to buy a product with almost 200% of the original price. And here the official import is only when the console dies and we have the support to fix. It´s only this. It´s because this that it´s better buy a illegal console than a legal one. the price is cheaper. If I buy a xbox 360, i will certainly buy pirate games, but i don´t want make this i wwil get a PS3. (I´m not really sure. I will wait some years)

It´s a terrible internet that I use with 56k. Now it´s conected with 45,2k. XD

well. I bought my PS2 in 2007. So, it´s not possible. and... Can I play PS3 games with dial-up? I didnt now that. Yes, it may be very stressful playing with dial-up.

Weeell.... I´m not really poor like the others are saying. I have condition ($$$) to get a broadband. Th problem is because there aren´t many services in my city. There´s only 3G, by radio and the velox.

3G problem: the service is not totally developed.

radio: It´s terrible!!!! When it rains, it´s better use a dial-up. XD

velox (the unique service ADSL in my city): the #¨@#$%$#¨@ of the operator doesn´t make it avaible for everybody. my number of telephone is not avaible. In capitals of eache state there´s more service of internet like internet+TV and others. But the problem is that i live in the interior of the state.

Can you find cable? tv-internet cable. The cost you pay will afford to buy NEW LCD TV every year. bloody expensive! 100 bucks/month.

Not really sure what broadband is all about. But can you use your UFO for internet connection american? What i know, satellite connection is always better.

as I was saying, we don't have official xbox live in Israel, so most people just sign up and state their location as London, uk.
I feel your pain when it comes to import taxes and poor internet infrastructure. Had to wait 2 years after 95% of the population had access to broadband to get it here(I live on the edge of the periphery of Israel,near the Jordanian border). we also pay a crazy tax on consoles ~ 35%! IIRC. Then the importer and the retailer all take their cuts and it ends up costing ~150-200% of the cost in the US and that's for grey market consoles!
