heh, i know it's a matter of opinion, i didn't say it to sway him one way or another, I'm just reporting what I belive to be true. hell, i find w2k easier to use than xp.... and when i meant easier to use, i mean having things work out of the box, without the need to configure (or in xp's case, disable) a load of things to get it to run the way i want.

back on topic, Apple releases alot of free little apps for OSX, and I forgot to mention another one that I have (and available for free download):

Quicktime Broadcaster (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/broadcaster/) is a little program that allows me to attach my miniDV cam and broadcast to anyone with QT6. No more chunky webcam refreshes! QT6 is the only requirement for the client and server due to it's mpeg4 compression (or so Apple states.)

Uhh, that's a shot of my TV, since there's nothing else interesting in my room and I look like a troll

Apple has put out a few other free things recently, iSync and iCal. I haven't really looked into them but from what little I've read, iSync synchronizes your contact list/phone book across palms, bluetooth phones, uhh .. and some other stuff *shrug*. iCal is some calendar thing, don't know much about it other than that atm.

If I think of anything else I'll add it too.
