I'm interested in knowing how LL still lives off of HCW. I know he's 2.0-ified his articles, and the articles are actually still pretty good compared to other hardware websites out there. But, still. It seems like HCW could stand some kind of renovation or repurposing.

Some of it is my fault. I had the opportunity to write for LL (and still do I guess?) but I was just too busy to get on it. I should consider doing this again. (Or maybe making videos?)

I love to make some video reviews/report if people want to send gadgets my way.. I tend to be more opinionated than informative though.. but I really do try to balance it.

That being said, TheVerge.com really just stepped it up to a whole new level. Watch some of their video reviews, it's like art.

Don't judge the life of the site based on the forum

NVM said there is a "good reason" everyone left. Whatever that reason is, I don't know. But the site itself is still good to go. The forum is just a forum, was here for people to enjoy. If nobody enjoys it, there's not much I can do about that.

i didn't say they left for a good reason. where does it say they left for good reasons? i said they don't join for a good reasons, mainly because there's nobody here. who's going to move to a ghost town?

and let's not forget the tradition of whoever does join, gets flamed to bits, then curbed.
