I guess I started noticing this last year, but I was just wondering when they switched it so that the home team now wears the full color jersey. It was always that the home team used to wear white? Anyone know why they changed it? Personally I prefer the home team in white. Anyone else remember back when Winnepeg used to do the sea of white in the playoffs? It was insane EVERYONE wore white shirts and waved the white towels and made for an insanely cool effect.

They switched it this year. Because a lot of teams have a 3rd jersey, and they are all dark jerseys.. So rather than have a bunch of 'reverse colours night' every time they want to show their spiffy 3rd jerseys to the home crowd, they just made it a permanent thing. It makes sense, and in fact originally that was the way they did it in the NHL originally.

Woot just bought a single ticket for game 5. I'll be in row 2 in the club section, right behind the penalty box.. Pretty much the shittiest seat in the house price wise I think, but I gotta go!!!!!!
