slayer, if you look at the posts, there are more posts slandering the democrats than the other way around, and if any person posted in favor of the democrats, he/she will get insulted and flamed more than the other way around. to me this is all political campigns are about, just one party flaming the other party...

look at this paragraph I turned into school.. I think it states my opinion pretty well.

Is it about arguing with one another and making accusations against your opponent to make the other person look bad? As a child, I was taught never to “fall to their level” and argue back with insults but to make a good situation out of a bad. Were our presidential candidates ever taught this? Even though President Bush didn't “approve this message”, the commercials made by the “527”s made very condemning accusations toward John Kerry. These commercials changed the argument from “I know you are but what am I?” to “yes you did!” “Nuh-uh!” “Uh-huh!” “Nuh-uh!”. How are we supposed to choose who the next president should be when all we're hearing is childish arguments condemning (sometimes falsely) the other? The candidates should take a stand and show us what their platform is instead of lowering the standards of the political process and arguing.

good points frugle in your paragraph for school. sometime it's best to look past the debates and chech the records for yourself, if the candidates arent going to bring them up. their stay in office prolly wont be based on spitballs they throw during the campaign but on the things they've done in the last 4 years as pres or 20 some years in the senate.
