Battlefield 2 Sound Issue

Hi All,

When I have my sound on hq with eax while running in hardware, some sounds
are very pronounced while others are very muted. When I disable EAX the muted sounds drop out completley. Everything runs fine in software mode however. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have a SBL! 24bit and a logitech 5.1 speaker set. All of my drivers are up to date. Thanks for any input.

Sound like a buggy driver. Try unistalling your current driver and using the last version. Creative "bug fixes" often break functionality.

Are the speakers set up to be 5.1 in windows? Check.
