some of my friends have used asrock boards, not sure which ones tho, there getting attention for being cheap yet solid socket a platforms

i don't have any manufacturers links, but www.ncix.com sells ASROCK mobos... i know cuz i was looking at a socket A one recently with a KT266 chipset, in their store. piece of crap, but its cheap

asrock are a daughter company os asus (read:generic,older stuff)

i know they r daughter boards to asus but r they good for the money
i mean i am tryin to make a budget pc that is still stable and has pretty good performance |

im think im goin to buy that asrock motherboard it is only like 34 bucks here
http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=MB-X533 im building a computer for my dad and i have plenty of money but he doesnt want to pay a lot so i think i will buy that asrock motherboard with my own money and if it isnt a good MB that isnt too much money gone lol im thinkin of maybe goin to shuttle too Shuttle AV49/N is that a good one thanx a lot i know a little about computers and stuff but i just took a class on it and stuff but i dont really know the best names out there....i hear abit asus and stuff like that is pretty good but i havent personally tryed them lol Last edited by shortman1984; 09-21-2003 at 12:57 PM. |
