about asrock motherboards

has anyone ever heard of the asrock x533 motherboard
and if so have u tryed it and is it good for the price

some of my friends have used asrock boards, not sure which ones tho, there getting attention for being cheap yet solid socket a platforms

i don't have any manufacturers links, but www.ncix.com sells ASROCK mobos... i know cuz i was looking at a socket A one recently with a KT266 chipset, in their store. piece of crap, but its cheap

asrock are a daughter company os asus (read:generic,older stuff)

i mean i am tryin to make a budget pc that is still stable and has pretty good performance

im building a computer for my dad and i have plenty of money but he doesnt want to pay a lot so i think i will buy that asrock motherboard with my own money and if it isnt a good MB that isnt too much money gone lol
im thinkin of maybe goin to shuttle too

i know a little about computers and stuff but i just took a class on it and stuff but i dont really know the best names out there....i hear abit asus and stuff like that is pretty good but i havent personally tryed them lol
