Seriously, this shit pisses me off to no end. I'll never get the mentality of taking people out with you. Good job asswipe. You're not even around to see the results of your crazy fantasy playing out in real life.

If you're gonna take out people with you, why not a couple scum-bags instead of innocent people. It doesn't make the killing right at ALL, but it would be way more bearable.

Besides. It's cheaper just to kill YOURSELF instead of other people. You gotta buy more bullets to kill a large number of people. It should only take one to do it to yourself if you do it correctly. So mass shooters are also financial idiots.

end rant..... sorry. This kinda stuff really hits hard with me when most of my friends are still in college.....

Gun debate or not, I can't imagine guns ever being taken away from Americans. Live in the south and meet the real people. Won't happen.

I've thought for a while is a problem with people feeling alienated in America. This generation doesn't know how to socialize and is making some extremely fucked up individuals. The guns are just an easy way to express it. Not sure how true this thought is, but it's the best I can think of so far. I also don't know what the solution is.

After the VT shooting, I thought I might be desensitized from this stuff. I was wrong -- Now it's starting to really frighten me.

it really does... it makes it clear that there is this whole breed of people out there who have this current mental state in america, and its a unique phenomenon because its not really a problem anywhere near the same magnitude in other parts of the world.

I figure there's going to be a bunch of VT copy cat shootings for a while, then it won't be in the news so much anymore, so people looking that spectacular attention getting act of crime will choose another method.

Dang, what would you guys do in that situation? I'm not sure if I'd run... with exits acting as bottlenecks, it'd be really easy for the shooter to aim there and hit a lot more people. I think I'd just hit the floor and play dead. Of course, I'm saying this without knowing how I'd react in reality....

If I was close and he was reloading, I might rush him... but dunno? Seems I might feel safer doing that than running for the exits, as he might be able to reload before I hit the door.

Whole thing boggles my mind. But I think geo's right on with his train of thought.
