You probable noticed that after launching the 4th major redesign of hardCOREware.net, that there are a lot of Twitter features everywhere. If you haven’t checked out Twitter yet, now is the time to do so.
Basically, you can think of it as sort of a “mini-blog” where users can keep each others updated on more minor ’stories’ that don’t necessarily warrant a full blog post. Personally, I use it like an instant messenger almost. Sure, most updates are pointless crap, but it’s still fun to keep up to date on the bloggers/writers you follow. In a way, Twitter is almost directly responsible for the success of Area5, the weekly Video Game show made by the former producers of The 1Up Show.
Anyway, if you are already using Twitter, follow HCW from this page. If not, go create an account, grab a good client (the best one is probably TweetDeck, followed by Twhirl – try both if you like, they work slightly different from each other).
