“Haswell Refresh” is coming, and with it a new chipset. Motherboard manufacturers are starting to show off their goods, so potential buyers can make a decision right on the spot when they come out.
Here’s EVGA’s lineup. Based on our experience with prior models, we sort of know what to expect. The VRM will be rock solid, and probably well above and beyond most others. However, it will be interesting to see if they worked out some of the quirks that we came across while reviewing the Z87 FTW. =
Here are the specs of each board, as were presented to us by EVGA. We’ll know a lot more once we get one of these on the test bench!

There are some interesting things that stand out to me. The Z97 has an M.2 SATA slot, while the other two have mSATA. I suppose this was due to space constraints? It is definitely a lot easier to find mSATA drives than it is M.2 at this point.
Also, it will be interesting to see how the Creative audio solution performs on the Z97 Classified and Z97 Stinger. I always look forward to testing new solutions, and this is a relatively new one that we haven’t tested yet.
