Just a heads-up for those of you who are using AMD’s excellent Windows based overclocking utility, OverDrive. They have just updated it to version 2.1.6, adding the following features:
- Official AM3 / DDR3 support
- Support for ITE 8720F & Fintek F71889F Hardware monitoring chips (used on various AM3 motherboards)
- Fixes a critical bug that prevented AOD from starting up on certain motherboards
Get it from AMD if you haven’t yet. I personally prefer to use the BIOS for overclocking, but for quick tweaks, this software is great.
