So far the gaming performance has been virtually locked up in a tie. Let’s see if Crysis 2 can break that trend:

The FX-8350 is delivering much ‘tighter lines’ than the FX-8150 and even the Core i5.
The 99th percentile chart often looks like an exaggerated version of the FPS chart, and that seems to be the case this time. The slowest CPU is obviously the Core i3, which spends 99% of the time delivering frames slower than even Bulldozer.
And this is where it really breaks down, with the Core i3 spending 5 seconds in a minute running slower than 40 FPS. This is admittedly a very microscopic look at gaming performance, but spread that out over an entire gaming session, and you will clearly notice that the Core i3 is slower than the rest.
