That causes noisy fans and increases your power bill which offsets any price advantage. AMD is trying the same old method against NVidia that it has done with Intel, if AMD cannot compete on specs, it keeps dropping the price or bundling in games.
At Amazon, there is only one AMD card in the top ten best selling computer graphics cards, an AMD card selling for $29.99. All the rest are NVidia cards selling for $130 to $590. It has like this ever since Maxwell was released. AMD needs more R&D, not cheaper cards.
